About Linda Jean

Linda Jean Isele is a graduate of Trinity College, and a certified hypno-counselor. She has been practicing Reiki since 1990. She was certified in the Usui Reiki System of Natural Healing (Levels I and II) by Rev. Beth Gray, one of Hawayo Takata’s original 22 masters and received her Master Training from Roxanne Louse who is from the line of Iris Ishikuro. Reiki was discovered by Dr. Mikao Usui and brought to the United States by Hawayo Takata in 1936.

Linda Jean has studied with Dr. Joan Boryshenko, Dr. Larry Dossey, Barabar Brennan, Dr. Brian Weiss, Lynn Walker, Margaret Kean and other gifted pioneers in the field of mind-body-spirit. As a Reiki Master, Linda Jean not only gives Reiki treatments, but also teaches the Usui System.

Linda Jean introduced Reiki to the Emergency Room staff at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in 1991; at the Somerset Medical Center Hospice in 1997; and the Somerset School of Massage in 1998. She has given presentations on Reiki in connection with the state of New Jersey Division on Senior Affairs on the use of Reiki in palliative care. In addition to her Reiki practice she has given presentations at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Roosevelt Care Center, Edison, NJ and the NJ Hospice and Palliative Care Organization at Princeton University.

Linda Jean has trained hundreds of students from all creeds and all walks of life.
